Epoxy Flooring
Our epoxy flooring is a 100% solids, industrial strength, two component coating. Available in 10 stock colors and a true clear version, epoxy is engineered and designed for use on concrete substrates of virtually any stable condition including most surface deteriorated surfaces in need of repair.
Epoxy floors are perfect for garages or any industrial floor needing oil or stain resistance. We can give you a solid color, any number of chip colors, chip to rejection, or a UV stable clear epoxy for your acid stained floor or polymer cement overlay. We can also add aluminum oxide grit to make your surface non-slip. A clear epoxy over a polymer overlay is perfect for sealing in any custom work done by us on your floor. Not just any company selling epoxy floors can do that! There are many small businesses in the Detroit Metro area that market epoxy floors, and we are one of them. Epoxy flooring is a very competitive market, and has driven prices down considerably. One way to compete is to buy cheaper epoxy, and many companies have done this, using products with low technology resins. Others cut their epoxy with solvents to provide an epoxy that is easier to spread, and "stretch" it out. In addition, cheap epoxies will "chalk", and turn yellow from UV exposure. We don't do business that way. We probably won't compete on price, but you are getting a 16 mil, high quality resin, durable epoxy coating that will last many years, and will not yellow from UV exposure. Don't save a couple hundred bucks and have your epoxy floor delaminate or wear through in 2-3 years. Get it done right the first time. That will save you money in the long run. This includes any coating you can get at the home centers. I can guarantee you that any garage floor coating you buy at the big box home centers will fail in less than a year, be it a paint, stain, or so called "epoxy" you may find. I know this because we routinely bid on garage floors with these cheap coatings. Most customers report that those coatings lasted only a few months at best. The biggest reason for coating failures is improper floor preparation. The reason do-it-yourself kits do not work is because most homeowners are not equipped to properly prepare the substrate to accept a coating. To prevent failure, the floor should be properly ground and profiled, and free from contaminants. 75% of the work we do to properly install an epoxy floor in the surface preparation process. We offer 10 base colors of epoxy flooring:
